What TapDrop is

TapDrop is software that helps you create links for tips, NFT mints, and gifts on the Sui blockchain. It is non-custodial: transactions are signed in your own wallet and settle on-chain.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your wallet, your keys, and the transactions you approve. Only create drops for content you have the right to share, and follow the laws that apply to you.

Stored content

Files and some post details you add (for example paywalled posts and delivered commission files) are stored on Walrus, a public decentralized storage network. They are encrypted so only the people meant to see them can open them, but the stored data itself is public, and we cannot guarantee it is ever fully erased, even after we delete it or its storage term ends. Never upload illegal or harmful content, or anything you don't have the right to share. Keep your own copies: delivered commission files are kept only for a short time.

Bounty entry uploads are different: they are not encrypted. Anyone can play, view or download them from the bounty page. TapDrop pays to store them for about 30 days, after which they may disappear, so posters should download the winning file within about 30 days. By uploading you confirm it is your original work or you have the rights to it, and that if you win, the poster gets the rights to use it. AI-made work is allowed if the tool's plan allows commercial use. The poster or TapDrop can hide entries that break the rules or someone else's rights; to report a copyright problem, use the Support link on the bounty page.

Bounties and commissions

Payments for bounties and commissions are held in on-chain escrow until released by the rules shown on each page. If someone raises a problem, TapDrop reviews it and may pay out, refund, or split the money; if we don't decide within 14 days, the rules shown apply automatically. TapDrop does not verify the identity of posters or creators.

Fees

Fees are shown before you confirm: currently 2.5% on paid mints and 1% per gift claim with a small minimum, and 1.5% on bounty and commission payouts (refunds are free). Sui network fees also apply unless TapDrop covers them.

No warranties

TapDrop is provided as-is. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
